Every fall the baker in me comes out in full force and Pumpkin Bread is always first on my list . Maybe it’s because it reminds me of baking with my mom for the holidays, or I just love a nice pumpkin bread every once in a while and finding pumpkin purée in the middle of the summer is a tall order. This Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread recipe is  a no fail hit. The spices which includes ginger are what really makes it sing.   1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 7x3 inch loaf pan - In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water and sugar until well blended. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin puree mixture until just blended. Pour into pans. - Bake for 50 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean. Enjoy!
