I am a lover of a good tequila and any chance I have to enjoy it in a cocktail, I will partake. This tequila cocktail was inspired by the aforementioned and my love of bees. If you have seen my daughter’s bathroom you know what I am talking about. ? Cheers to you, the bees, and cocktail hour.
Pour the mezcal in the glass and swirl. You just need a coating.
Use only 100% Agave Tequila.
Squeeze lemon into the shaker. Keep the lemon for garnish.
Rinse a highball glass with the mezcal, coating the inside of the glass with a thin layer and dumping out whatever doesn’t stick.Add the tequila, honey and lemon juice to a shaker with ice, and shake until chilled.Pour into the prepared glass, and add 2 dashes of the bitters.Add Ice and Club Soda.Garnish with a lemon peel.
