Known for its southern charm and rolling countryside, Round Top was the perfect addition to our signature Toile Collection. Our Round Top Toile was inspired by Katie's time there antique shopping and features hand-drawn illustrations of iconic landmarks and traditions that capture the small town charm.
Hotel Lulu
Hotel Lulu was established in a restored historic stone building dating back to the early 1800s, formerly known as Bybee Square. Blending southern charm with modern chic, Hotel lulu offers the only luxury accommodations in Round Top with a restaurant and bar inside. During the town’s annual antique and vintage design festival, one of the largest of its kind, Hotel Lulu is a popular place to stay.
City Limit Sign
The city limit sign in Round Top is a popular place for visitors to take photos, due to its small population. Round Top, Texas is a charming rural town, but grows in size during the town’s annual Round Top Antiques Festival.
Round Top Festival Institute
The Round Top Festival Institute offers an immersive experience in arts and culture, and features music festivals, exhibits, and gardens. The institute hosts its very own summer program for music students to study with world-renowned teachers and conductors. Former students have gone on to play in major orchestras and teach at leading institutes.
Public Square
As one of Texas’ oldest towns, Round Top’s public square serves as a bridge between its early days to now. The public square remains the heart of local events, hosting events like the Round Top Antiques Fair, which brings visitors from all over the country. These events help celebrate and preserve the town’s culture and traditions.
The General Store
In its early days, the general store in Round Top served as a central hub for resources and trade. Over time, the store was renovated to incorporate modern use, while still keeping its historic charm. Today, the general store remains a popular place for travelers visiting Round Top and offers a glimpse into the town’s history.
The Show
The Round Top Antiques Show, often referred as “The Show”, is Round Top’s largest event and one of the largest antique shows in the country. Covering 11 miles on either side of the Texas State Highway 237, The Show features over 65 venues showcasing home decor, fine art, and authentic antiques.
Scissor-tailed flycatcher
The Scissor-tailed flycatcher is one of most recognizable and iconic birds in Texas. You can often find them in open and sunny skies in many rural areas, including Round Top, Texas. Birdwatching is a popular activity in many rural areas of Texas, and birds like the scissor-tailed flycatcher attract not only tourists, but bird photographers.
Cowgirl
From rodeos to trail rides, Round Top keeps the cowgirl spirit alive. Cowgirls are an iconic part of Texas culture and embody freedom and strength. In Round Top, where the agricultural roots run deep, the cowgirl isn't just a symbol – she is a way of life. Whether on horseback or showing her wild western flair, the cowgirl is true Texan magic.
Bluebonnets
The bluebonnet is the official state flower of Texas and stands tall as a symbol of Texas pride and heritage. In Round Top, and many other areas in Hill Country, the bluebonnets bloom in large patches in the springtime and contribute to the town’s charm. They represent the state’s natural beauty and attract tourists who come to see the iconic wildflower that holds a special place in the heart of Texans.
Cowboy Hat
The cowboy hat embodies the free and natural spirit of the American West. It tells the story of the men who settled and built shelter on the Western plains. The cowboy hat – a protector of the sun, rain, and cold – became a staple in Western wear and is worn by many people, not just working cowboys. Timeless and versatile, the cowboy hat comes in many styles including straw, wool, and felt, making it suitable for any season.
